Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

B. Com. Is an undergraduate degree awarded in commerce and business related subjects. This is a three – year course designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills and understanding in streams like finance, accounting, taxation and management. The subjects are trifurcated in the following manner :

1st year - Accounts & Economics

2nd Year - Accounts and Statistics

3rd year- Accounts, Costing and Income Tax

The completion of B. Com. Qualifies you to apply for the post of an accountant in any organisation. An accountant is a key figure in any organisation as he/she keeps tabs on the profit and loss and well as transactions of the company. There is also an option to apply for M. Com. Or MBA on completion of B. Com. later if they aspire to do so.
